Mobile Brain Bank is attending the Microsoft’s Mobile Acceleration Week (MAW) in Finland, Aalto University’s famous Garage, during February 13th – 17th. The week is about accelerating the development of mobile applications on Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 platform.
Microsoft has been running MAW’s in San Francisco, New York and Israel, and now it’s Finland’s turn. This round is biggest so far, and according to Brian Hoskins from Microsoft’s Mountain View office, also the coolest location (and by this we don’t mean the weather). The companies attending range from preventive substance abuse NGO to companies developing maps, games, TV and beyond.
The Mobile Brain Bank crew is coding two apps at the same time. One is a Windows Phone 7.5 version of the online developer service running at www.mobilebrainbank.com. Another one is a team sports application designed for national or local associations to offer to their member teams. More information about these applications will be available after the judging panel and media afternoon on Thursday.
